CKC Requirements

Canadian Samoyed Info Website ]

Below are the new requirements for Club Constitution & Bylaws. The format of our present C&BL does not have to change, however our 'updated' C&BL must contain all the elements listed in the table below (minimum requirements). The "format" does not have to change (or order of articles/by-laws) from our present C&BL format. This directive sent from CKC was only to make sure all elements are included, and they need not be in the same form or order as below. This was confirmed by telephone conversation with CKC on June 9, 1999.

There were some errors contained in the May 1999 issue of the Bulletin regarding the new requirements. In the President's message (page 6), it it stated that:

*2/3 of VOTES RECEIVED required to change C&BL and Breed Standard.
This is an error. The requirement is 2/3 of eligible voters. (See 9. Amendments above)
If any other errors arise from the May Bulletin, they will be addressed here.
